Delicious dinner recipes that don’t require the stove or oven

How about having an easy delicious dinner in minutes? It sounds like a perfect after-work scenario, which saves your time and money. We found four recipes for different food preferences. No stove is needed. Move to your kitchen, and let's begin.

 

#1 – 10-minute pizza in the pan

Dough ingredients: 1 cup of self-rising flour and 5 ounces of any plain yogurt.

Pizza Top: Anything left in your fridge.

Inventory: Pan

How to cook?

Step 1

Combine your flour and yogurt until the dough is ready. Split in 2 and roll each section to the size of your pan.

Step 2

Pour 1 tbsp of oil on your pan and wait until it is hot. Place your dough into the pot and make your heat level low. In 2 minutes, you will see the golden crust in the bottom, so flip it.

Step 3

Now, put any sauce on top (ketchup, mayo, ceasar, or bbq are perfect). It is time to improvise – put any greenery, peppers, meat, or cheese you have (slice it before). Cover your pot and cook for an additional 2-3 min.

You're ready to serve. Complete the same process with your second dough section or use half of the dough ingredients to make just one pizza.

 

#2 Five-minute Quesadilla in the Microwave

Ingredients: 2 tortillas, any veggies (green pepper, cucumbers, tomatoes etc.), cooked meat (in this case – chicken breast), and cheese (mozzarella is good for melting), salt and pepper, sauce (your favourite).

Inventory: plate


 

How to cook?

Step 1

Warm-up your tortillas in the microwave for 1 minute.

Step 2

Combine your meat with veggies, and add sauce, salt, and pepper. Place into the microwave for 2 minutes.

Step 3

Place the first tortilla on the plate, put the meat with veggies on top, add cheese, and place the 2nd tortilla. Microwave 1 minute.

Cut with a knife or pizza cutter. Enjoy!

 

#3 Two-ingredients pancakes in a pan

Ingredients: 1 banana, 1 egg

Inventory: Pan

How to cook?

Step 1

Mesh banana in a bowl. Add an egg and mix well together.

Step 2

Cook in a pan like pancakes. A minute or two for both sides.

You're all done. Ready to serve with your favourite fruits or jam.

 

#4 Monkey Bread in a microwave

Ingredients: 7 tbsp butter, 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1 tsp vanilla, 2 tsp cinnamon, 2 cans of biscuits

Inventory: bowl

How to cook?

Step 1

Melt butter and mix with sugar, vanilla, and cinnamon.

Step 2

Cut biscuits into quarters and pour the sugar mixture over. Stir to coat.

Step 3

Cook on high for 4 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes to cool. Flip out onto a plate and serve.
