Spring 2023 comes with a sunny sky, cool weather, and positive vibes. This month is a new beginning and a new hope for better things to come. Spring cleaning can help you feel more positive and energized. When you declutter your space and remove unwanted items, it will give you a sense of accomplishment and a positive outlook. 


 

Cleaning is a mental healing process – reducing stress and anxiety by organizing a disorganized space that you live in. It is a way to revitalize your life, creating a more positive space, and harnessing fresh energy in your body. It also comes with great benefits: 
 

  • Your living space will shine again. 

  • Removing clutter and unwanted items will put your mind at ease. 

  • Donating items you don’t need may be someone else’s treasure. 

 

Our team created an itinerary of spring-cleaning tips. Here is a 5-day list to help you with your home transformation. 

Day 1 

Low-energy task: Steam clean the microwave. 

Medium-energy task: Deep-clean your bathroom. 

High-energy task: Wash your windows. 

 

Day 2 

Low-energy task: Clean your doormats. 

Medium-energy task: Scrub your trash cans. 

High-energy task: Organize your fridge. 

 

Day 3 

Low-energy task: Clean your drains. 

Medium-energy task: Wipe down the walls. 

High-energy task: Organize your wardrobe. 

 

Day 4 

Low-energy task: Wash reusable bags. 

Medium-energy task: Toss expired cosmetics and hygienic products. 

High-energy task: Vacuum soft furniture. 

 

Day 5 

Low-energy task: Dust your ceiling fixtures. 

Medium-energy task: Clean your pots and oven. 

High-energy task: Deep-clean carpets. 

 

We couldn't leave you without some pro tips on how to make your space shine with less effort. 

 

Kitchen Cleaning: 

Tip 1 – Boil water with five tablespoons of vinegar in your kettle to clean it from the inside.  

Tip 2 – Use baking soda and vinegar to clean the bottoms of your pots. 

Tip 3 – Microwave water with lemon juice to clean it + a fresh apartment smell. 

Tip 4 – Use cleaning supplies for wood/granite to make them look new. The multi-surface cleaning sprays are okay, but there is a difference in using special ones.  

Tip 5 – Always wait until your dishes are dry before putting them in the cabinet. It helps to avoid mold.  

 

General cleaning tips: 

Tip 1 – Place glue-on air fresheners on the bottom of your trash cans to avoid bad smells.  

Tip 2 – Place your dryer sheets between your clothing to keep them fresh. 

Tip 3 – Run your washer empty and add vinegar to deep-clean the machine. 

Tip 4 – Use shoe deodorant and protectors each time you wear them to keep them clean and fresh. 

Tip 5 – Use lemon water as your natural room spray.
